Speakers’ Bio:

Ravy Por

Ravy Por is a leader in the practice of partnerships and the influence of advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence at Desjardins Group. A graduate in mathematics, she has over 10 years of experience in the fields of finance, data science and innovation. Founder of Heroes from Home, the NPO’s mission is to democratize digital education by demystifying the concepts and professions of the STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Through the offer of workshops and conferences as well as the creation of online capsules, it has reached thousands of young people in the Quebec region and metropolis during the past year.

Ms. Por is the recipient of an Canadian honorary distinction awarded by the Governor General of Canada, is also the recipient of the “Female Leadership” award and the “Young Woman in Technology” award for her dedication to the democratization of technological literacy, place of women in STEM and inclusion of diversity. Finally, she sits on a few boards of directors and is a member of the Groupe des Trente de Concertation Montréal.


Donald Cuccioletta, PhD

Donald Cuccioletta is an author, professor and researcher specializing in American history. He is a researcher in residence in strategic and diplomatic studies at the Raoul-Dandurand Chair and teaches at the University of Quebec in Outaouais. He was a professor at the State University of New York (Plattsburgh campus) and is regularly invited by the media to comment on and analyze American news.
