About this Event:
As executives, we continue to reward speed over quality, distractedness over focus, back-to-back-to back meetings as the norm, yet the negative effects are mounting.
Due to several alarming factors including our overall busyness, time mismanagement and technology temptations, leaders are struggling to cope. We all need a more reflective and responsive operating mindset in order to take back control. Better leadership is dependent on how open we are to new ideas, how evidence-based our decision-making can be, but mapped against how capable we remain to get things done.
What to do? A continuous cycle of three key categories: Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking and Applied Thinking is required. We need a return to balance between the key components of productive thought: Dream. Decide. Do. Repeat.
In this session, learn to recognize the effects poor thinking is having on both leaders and organizations while understanding the important difference between reflection and action. You will also learn ways in which to make better use of the cycle of Creative, Critical and Applied Thinking, bringing some useful techniques into your daily leadership habits.
