Government Conference Centre

APEX invites you to visit the site that will temporarily accommodate the Senate for the duration of the Centre block rehabilitation.

The Parliamentary Precinct Branch and the Senate Accommodation project teams have partnered with Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism to rehabilitate the Government Conference Centre so that it can accommodate the Senate in the fall of 2018.

The rehabilitation of the Centre is a good example of a major project involving a multi-million dollar budget, multi-level partnerships, job creation, and innovative approaches.

Join us and hear first-hand from senior executives leading the project and learn from their experience. An event not to be missed!

The tour is expected to last approximately 90 minutes; walking and standing are to be expected.  Space is limited to 20 participants. The latter are responsible for their own transportation to the meeting point at 1 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

This event is part of our “EXplorations” series.

Host: Rob Wright, Assistant Deputy Minister, Parliamentary Precinct Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada
