Understanding Compensation Payments Received


APEX has heard that some executives are unsure where to turn if they are seeking to better understand their pay stub or to reconcile the payment they have received with the amount that they were expecting.

TBS-OCHRO and PSPC have provided the following tips for employees seeking to better understand compensation payments received:

  • Step 1:
    Review the Compensation Web Applications (CWA) pay stub statement. This document may contain more detailed information than what is produced out of the Phoenix Pay System.
  • Step 2:
    If after reviewing the CWA pay stub, you require additional assistance, contact the Client Contact Centre (CCC) – reachable in Canada or the United States at: 1-855-686-4729 or if you are outside Canada and the United States at: 1-506-424-4330 the CCCs hours of operation are: Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm eastern time.
  • Step 3:
    If the CCC is unable to assist you, as a last resort, you should contact your Departmental Executive Services unit and request that they connect you with the Departmental Compensation Advisor. The Compensation Advisor will have access to your pay file and can review it with you.
