Daryell Nowlan has been an assistant deputy minister (vice-president) at ACOA since June 2013, and an executive and member of APEX for 14 years.
He joined the APEX board in 2018, serving on the Nominating Committee for the last two years. In addition to his APEX work, he is also Champion for the National Managers’ Community for the Atlantic region.
Daryell has spent most of his 27 years of public service at ACOA serving in various roles in its regional and head offices. He has worked extensively in federal-provincial relations, policy, innovation, and community and business development.
Daryell is currently based in Moncton, New Brunswick. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a diploma in public administration from the University of Prince Edward Island, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
Daryell is a proud member of the LGBTQ2+ community and works hard to promote a respectful and inclusive workplace.
