Doug Zolinsky was appointed Regional Director General for Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) in 2011. Preceding this appointment, he was the Director of Policy, Planning, and External Relations for two years. Prior to WD, Doug served as ADM and held other senior executive positions in the Government of Saskatchewan and in the private sector. Doug earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Doug has also obtained a Public Leadership Certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Board Governance Certificate from the University of Toronto, and a Mini MBA from McGill University. He currently sits on the board of directors of Word on the Street Saskatoon and was a board member of the Saskatoon SPCA and the Broadway Theatre.
