Timely Decision-Making in a Rapidly Changing Environment
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.” – Theodore Roosevelt
Have you decided to think strategically about how you make decisions?
Led by facilitator Patrick Lefort, Director General at Employment and Social Development Canada, participants in this chat session will explore how to make faster, more sound, defensible and adaptable decisions. By sharing his real-life examples, Patrick will guide participants through three perspectives that allow for improved decision-making:
1. Clarity of Intent (What matters most?)
2. Quality of Insight (What do we know?)
3. Courage & Accountability (Are we ready to act?)
If ‘indecision is eventually a decision’, learn how to think quickly about the impact your choice to act or not will have on situations and on others, and to consider the potential consequences and outcomes before making the leap.
