Join us for an engaging session with Madona Radi, Director General within the Arts and Cultural Sector Strategy Branch at Canadian Heritage, and Gabrielle Dallaporta, Director within the Strategic Policy, Planning and Research directorate, who will share how innovative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions are being used to solve real business challenges in the Grants & Contributions (G&C) space.

Drawing on practical experience and lessons learned, Madona and Gabrielle will showcase two impactful AI applications that are helping improve efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery.

AI-Powered Financial Analysis: Assessing the financial health of organizations is a critical part of responsible funding decisions. Learn how an AI-enabled financial analysis tool can review financial statements, identify trends and risks, provide recommendations, and generate key questions for funding officers. This solution helps teams make informed decisions, reduces the need for external financial analysis services, and can be integrated into existing grants management systems.

AI-Assisted Grants & Contributions Applications: Completing funding applications can be a complex and time-consuming process for applicants. Discover how an AI-powered chatbot could help applicants navigate G&C application requirements through a user-friendly, and multilingual experience. Supporting more than 700 languages and producing submissions in either English or French, this solution has the potential to improve accessibility, reduce applicant burden, streamline the application process and level the playing field for different types of organizations.

Through these real-world examples, Madona and Gabrielle will discuss the opportunities and challenges of implementing AI in government, the importance of experimentation and innovation, and the lessons learned from introducing practical AI solutions that support both employees and funding recipients.

This session will be bilingual and recorded.
