Karim Fala is Executive Director of the Programs Branch at Service Canada – Quebec Region. Having worked in the public service for over 17 years, he has extensive experience in promoting excellence in public services.
His career path is marked by a commitment to high-quality service delivery, as well as solid expertise in program delivery, strategic planning, stakeholder relations, federal-provincial relations and service transformation.
Karim has been the Regional Champion of the Service Canada Executive Network – Quebec Region, since June 2021, a role that speaks to his dedication and ongoing commitment to the executive community. During his time as Champion, he has distinguished himself in particular for the development of a comprehensive range of executive support offerings related to mental health. As a leader, Karim values rigor, simplicity, diversity of viewpoints and supports an inclusive work environment.
Karim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with honors and a master’s degree in public administration, completed respectively at Université de Montréal and École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP).
