Lilia Trombetti

A seasoned public servant, Lilia has always had a passion for employee wellbeing and health. Over the past 18 years as an executive, Lilia has had the opportunity to take on a multitude of strategic leadership roles in the fields of: human resources; program and project management; policy development; corporate planning; and operations management. She is currently the Head of Human Resources at the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). Prior to joining the CRTC in 2017, Lilia worked at the Canada Border Services Agency where she led the development of numerous leadership and employee support programs, management training, and organizational change strategies. Lilia has a proven track record of working with partners, stakeholders and employee representatives to develop approaches to improving organizational performance.

 

Lilia holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Combined Honours in History from Carleton University and a Maitrise en sciences de l’information et de la communication from the Université Grenoble Alpes. She is enthusiastic about mentoring a number of young public service professionals as they navigate their learning and career plans in the public service, and has delivered management training under the auspices of the World Customs Organization in South Africa and St. Lucia. She is an avid reader, a fan of all types of music and dance, and craves international travel.
