Ziad Shadid has been a Principal lead transformation with the Office of the Auditor General since May 2023.
He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with over 20 years of professional experience in the public and private sectors—including over 10 years as an executive. His roles have included various Director General roles with Statistics Canada and Natural Resources Canada, as well as other executive roles with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Natural Resources Canada.
In all of his leadership roles, Ziad has been committed to building teams that are founded in trust, compassion and a strong team spirit – with a laser focus on achieving results by fostering a healthy, respectful and safe work environment.
