A senior executive in the federal public service since 2009, Martin Béliveau is the Registrar of the Federal Court since August 2023.

Mr. Béliveau was the Chairperson of the Trademarks Opposition Board at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, he worked at Treasury Board Secretariat, Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer where he led the Public Service Employee Survey and supported the implementation My GCHR. He also he held several executive positions at Justice Canada with the responsibility for initiatives such as reporting to Parliament, performance measurement, human resources, client satisfaction, and strategic planning.

Mr. Béliveau holds a Law Degree (LLL) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ottawa.

Over the years, Mr. Béliveau has organized numerous events to increase executive engagement and learning opportunities as well as promote inclusive leadership and healthy workplaces. He recently joined the APEX board in October 2022.
