Members and associate members of APEX are invited to attend the annual general meeting, held in the fall. The meeting includes a review of the accomplishments of the past year and the organization’s objectives for the year ahead, presentation of the financial statements for the previous financial year, and announcement of the results of the election of new directors to the board for a two-year term. The AGM is a unique opportunity for members to put questions to the Chair of the Board of Directors, the Treasurer, the Secretary or the CEO.
Annual report and financial statements
The Association has a duty to report on its accomplishments, the challenges it faces and any changes in its approach. APEX is committed to transparency with respect to its financial decisions. Its financial statements are presented at the annual general meeting. The statements are prepared by a professional accounting firm, which conducts an audit in accordance with generally accepted Canadian accounting principles. You can access the annual reports and the financial statements for the last three years below. A member wishing to consult documents on previous years need only contact the Association. We will be happy to forward them to you.
